The Rev. Robert Dargatz serves as assistant pastor at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Orange in Orange, Calif., where he served as senior pastor from 1998 until his semi-retirement in 2021. He was a student at the Springfield seminary from 1972 to 1976, and his long career in church work has included service as a professor at Concordia College, Ann Arbor. Mich., and Christ College, Irvine, Calif.
