Christian love is specific and sacrificial. It is meted out through the concentric circles of our vocation.
The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is lived out in the life of the Christian. We live in the in-between time, the time of sorrows. But this time of sorrow is limited. It will not last forever.
In the family of God, we never run out of people to love.
Jesus reminds us in Matthew 25 that when we serve our neighbor, we are serving Him. Even more, Jesus directs Christians to see God in those we serve.
