The transfiguration of Christ is receiving heavy emphasis in this month’s issue of The Lutheran Witness. That’s appropriate, since Transfiguration Sunday is Feb. 26. And, following close on the heels of Transfiguration Sunday—only three days later—is Ash Wednesday, which marks the beginning of Lent.
