Forgive us our errant passes
Uncle Matt went to watch his nephews Ian, 5, and Brighton, 4, play basketball. Before the game, they were explaining to him the three different passes they had learned from their coach: the bounce pass, the overhead pass, and the trespass (also known as the chest pass.) You can tell they go to a Lutheran school. They are students at Trinity Lutheran School in Lincoln, Neb.

Easter message from Medicare
Recently, a retired Lutheran schoolteacher received a registered letter from the U.S. Social Security Administra-tion: “Your Medicare benefits will be discontinued as of March 1 because we received notice of your death. You may re-apply for benefits if your circumstances change.”
