Lutheran Witness: April 2010

April. It’s hard to believe that we are well into A.D.
2010—in the year of our Lord 2010, that is—and
that Easter, glorious Easter, is upon us.

And indeed, that Easter hope is a glorious hope, explains
Dr. Reed Lessing in “Isaiah’s Easter Feast,” our cover story. In Isaiah, Lessing says, we find not only a warning of universal judgment, but also a foretaste of Easter joy and the sure promise of eternal life that awaits us in heaven.
