With regard to “Strengthening Single-Parent Families” in the August 2011 issue, thank you, Monique, for writing this article. I could relate because being a single-parent is not an easy job. One thought I had while reading it was that even though I was married at the time, I was still a single parent when it came to church as my husband did not attend with us. Many of the points she makes could easily be applied to married people who attend church as single-parents. I hope to use these six L’s with my own daughter who is married, but a single-parent in church. It is my prayer that others will do the same.
