“Lutheranism and Other Religions” Booklet

Many believe that all religions are paths to the same God — or that each religion grasps different aspects of one great truth.  

But Holy Scripture tells us that salvation is to be found exclusively in the person of Jesus Christ. God has not left us to grasp after Him but has revealed through Scripture how we can come to know Him: through His Son.

This resource from The Lutheran Witness, adapted from our February 2022 print issue, gives a short introduction to various world religions — what they teach about God and about human life, and the sources they draw these teachings from.

The booklet also shares the Lutheran confession to each of these religions, showing where each goes astray from God’s truth as revealed in Scripture.
